Free tickets available for X FACTOR tapings in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — THE X FACTOR will begin filming auditions across the country next week and free tickets are being offered for those interested in participating as part of the live studio audience.

THE X FACTOR AUDITIONS, which begin in Austin, Tex. on May 24, will reach Greensboro in July.

Live auditions will be taped at the Greensboro Coliseum on Sunday, July 8, and Monday, July 9.  There will be two separate tapings each day at 1 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.

Anyone whose interested can sign up for up to four free tickets to join as part of the studio audience.

Those applying for tickets must fill out a form online, after which X FACTOR officials will email the recipients.

Season two of THE X FACTOR will feature a panel of judges including Simon Cowell, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, and L.A. Reid. Contestants will compete for a $5 million recording contract with Sony Music.
