GREENSBORO, N.C. — A suspect has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Greensboro Tuesday night.
Reginald Raphael Reaves, 55, was charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of Vershawn Abdulla Miller, 28.
The shooting happened around 11:15 p.m. Tuesday at a home in the 1800 block of McKnight Mill Road.
Police found Miller suffering from a gunshot wound, and Miller died shortly after arriving at Moses Cone Hospital.
Police said Reaves was arrested within hours of the shooting. Police said they don’t yet know a motive for the shooting, and they haven’t yet determined any type of relationship between Reaves and Miller.
Reaves is being held in the Guilford County Jail without bond.
