Police: Man robs business with screwdriver

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police said a man used a screwdriver to rob a Family Dollar store Sunday morning in Winston-Salem.

Officials said the suspect entered the business at 3501 S. Main St. around 8:51 a.m. and demanded money.

Police said he left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash headed north on Main Street.

The suspect is described as a black or Hispanic male, 21-25 years old, and 5’7” with a slim build. He reportedly wore dark blue or a black hooded sweatshirt.
