Man injured in Greensboro shooting

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man was taken to Moses Cone Hospital following a shooting in Greensboro on Wednesday afternoon.

Greensboro police said two men were involved in an altercation near the Charlestowne Crossing apartments at 5701 Battery Drive around 12:19 p.m.

One of the men reportedly produced a gun and shot the other man multiple times, according to Susan Danielson.

The victim was taken to Moses Cone Hospital for treatment.

Police said a person of interest is in custody, but it’s not clear if the person who’s been apprehended is the gunman.
