Police: Man tried breaking into business with truck

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are looking for suspects after somebody reportedly tried breaking into an Aaron’s retail store with a pick-up truck March 31 in Greensboro.

Police said an unknown person tried breaking down the business’ front doors with the truck around 5:22 a.m. at 3201 Yanceyville St.

Authorities said the suspect tried breaking the doors down twice and drove off after being unsuccessful.

The vehicle is described as a white 2-door smaller model pick-up truck with a black rear bumper, a black tool box behind the rear window, “Chevrolet” written in black letters on the tail gate, tinted windows and gray rims.

Police are offering up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest or indictment. Anyone with any information can call Crime Stoppers at 373-1000. Callers can remain anonymous.
