GREENSBORO, N.C. — A suspect wanted in connection with a deadly shooting in Virginia was arrested Monday afternoon in Greensboro.

Antwan Dewayne Johnson, 35, was arrested during a traffic stop near the intersection of Cone Boulevard and Orange Street around 4:30 p.m., according to U.S. Marshals spokesman Mike Potter.

Johnson was wanted as a suspect in the death of 33-year-old Gary Lee Williams, who was found shot in his Roanoke home in the 100 block of Cherry Hill Circle on the night of April 3.

The Roanoke Times reports Johnson had recently moved in with Williams, who owned a car wash.
