BURKE COUNTY, N.C. — A man accused of turning a moped into a mobile meth lab was arrested after a police chase Monday in Burke County.

The News & Observer reported that Brian Chad Neaves, 31, of Morganton, led law enforcement on a chase with his moped. He allegedly cut through several homes’ yards and went down dirt roads.

The chase lasted more than three miles, starting on U.S. 70 and continuing down Tex’s Fish Camp Road, the paper reported.
