Dollar General store robbed at gunpoint in Stokesdale

GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — Deputies on Wednesday released a surveillance photo of two suspects who robbed a Dollar General store at gunpoint in Stokesdale.

In a news release, deputies said the suspects entered the Dollar General at 8302 Belews Creek Road around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday and demanded money.  One of the suspects was armed with a handgun.

The robbers, who police have not been able to identify, fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
