About 10,000 people are expected to attend an RV show this weekend at the Greensboro Coliseum.
More than 100 brands will be displayed at 30 booths featuring companies all over the Southeast.
Even with gas prices inching higher, RV fans said you can save money on trips in the long run.
"Even though gas is a little more expensive, you're cooking your own food. You're camping out at the campgrounds that you choose to. You don't have to make reservations. Most of the time you can go on your own, and it really brings the family together," said John Holland with RV Adventure Videos.
It is also possible to rent an RV for a few days as opposed to buying one outright.
