Suspects sought after man beaten in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are looking for two suspects after officials said a man was punched in the face and knocked to the ground Tuesday night in Greensboro.

The 44-year-old victim told police the crime occurred as he was walking in the 2000 Block of W Vandalia Road around 10:21 p.m.

Police said the suspects checked the victim’s pockets for money after throwing him to the ground. They did not say whether or not any money was taken.

The suspects allegedly fled on foot. Complete descriptions were not provided.

The victim was taken to Wesley Long Hospital for a minor injury to his forehead.
