Suspect sought after sandwich delivery worker robbed

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are looking for a suspect after a Jimmy John’s sandwich delivery worker was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night in Greensboro.

The victim told officers the crime happened around 9:47 p.m. as he had made a delivery to the 5000 block of W. Friendly Ave.

The victim said the armed man approached him demanding money and property before getting into a gray SUV in the parking lot and leaving.

A complete description of the suspect was not provided.

No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
