Shots fired into Burlington home

BURLINGTON, N.C. – Around 5:00 pm Saturday, Burlington Police officers responded 836 Apple Street and were advised on the way that someone had shot into the home.

Officers determined that the residence had been struck by several rounds from a firearm.

One of the rounds entered the home through a window and lodged in an interior door frame.

At the time of the shooting, the home was occupied by 4 adults and 5 juveniles whose ages ranged from 3 to 9 years old.

Burlington Police say that there are no suspects at this time and the investigation is continuing.
