Employee charged with intentionally setting fire at Goodwill
BURLINGTON, N.C. — A teen doing his community service at a Goodwill store has been charged with intentionally setting a fire there on Wednesday.
Terrence Shaquille Harvey, 17, of Burlington, was arrested in connection with the fire, which took place at the North Church Street location around 4:25 p.m.
Damage to the business was estimated at $5,000, Burlington Police said.
Burlington Police said in a news release Harvey was a Goodwill employee who was doing his community service at the store.
Police charged Harvey with burning certain buildings and injury to personal property. He was placed under a $20,000 bond.
