Representative Larry Womble, who was released from the hospital earlier this month, has not announced whether or not he will file to run in the upcoming election.

Womble was released from Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center on Friday, February 3, 2012.  He is currently undergoing extensive therapy and rehabilitation.

Spokesperson Tanya Wiley said Womble is responding well to the therapy.  While he still has a long road of recovery ahead, a decision regarding whether or not he will file to run in the upcoming election remains in question.

In a statement, Wiley said the family contends that Womble’s miraculous recovery has been a direct result of all the prayers he has received over the past two months.
