WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Donny Lambeth, chairman of the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School Board and an executive at Wake Forest Baptist Health, today filed for the Republican nomination for the N. C. House of Representatives.

Lambeth would succeed Rep. Bill McKee, who announced his retirement from the State House, representing District 75.

Lambeth has been elected to the school board five consecutive times and has served as chairman since 1994.

If elected to the House of Representatives, Lambeth will retire from the School Board in 2013 when he would take office in Raleigh.
