LEWISVILLE, N.C. — A Lewisville winery is adding to its beverage choices by adding a brewery.

The Westbend Vineyard has changed its name to Westbend Vineyard and Brewhouse after adding four craft beers to its product line.

The brewery is the second in Forsyth County. Mark Terry, winemaker and brewer, said adding the brewery took quite an investment.

“By the time we were done with this room and the windows and all this equipment, we sank down about $300,000 to $350,000. But, be sure to come out because we gotta make this thing pay for itself,” Terry said.

The brewery’s grand opening will run from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday. There will be live music, and you will get a souvenir glass.

Admission is free, but beer or wine will cost you.
