Reynolds American cutting jobs in Tobaccoville, union rep says

A union representative said Tuesday that Reynolds American has started cutting jobs at its plant in Tobaccoville.

John Price told FOX8 content partner the Winston-Salem Journal he does not know an exact number of cuts, but he should know more after an employee meeting scheduled for 8 a.m. Wednesday.

A company spokeswoman told the Journal Tuesday she could not comment until after its year-end earnings are released at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
