Man arrested after gunshots fired in Burlington parking lot
BURLINGTON, N.C. (WGHP)— A man was arrested after gunshots were fired in a gas station parking lot Tuesday night in Burlington.
Marcus Breeze, 22, allegedly drove a car that fired several shots at another vehicle around 8 p.m. at the BP/Family Fare at 2227 Maple Ave.
The alleged victim told police that they were being chased by a large older model Buick. No injuries were reported.
Police found the Buick on Floyd Avenue and pulled the driver over. Breeze was arrested on drug charges.
A second suspect was identified as Torry Rogers, 21, of Graham. Police are still looking for Rogers.
Police did not say exactly how Rogers was involved or which of the two suspects allegedly fired the gunshots.
Breeze has been charged with felony marijuana possession, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and possession of non-taxed paid alcohol.
He received a $30,000 secured bond and was placed in the Alamance County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing. Further details were not provided.
