The school resource officers in Randolph County’s high schools have a new tool that will allow them to patrol the hallways and parking lots much faster.
Sheriff Reid said the department also bought a golf cart so they can hold demonstrations with high school students about the dangers of texting and driving.
Both were paid for with money confiscated from drug busts.
